A Universal Gripper

A what now?
A robotic gripper made of a flexible balloon and coffee grounds.

What does it do?
Say you want to pick up an object. You push the gripper's balloon onto the object. The balloon with coffee deforms to the shape of the object you're trying to pick up. Once the balloon envelopes the object, a Venturi pump sucks out air from the balloon. However, the coffee makes the balloon retain it's shape. This way it can pick up all sorts of shapes. Unlike robot fingers.
